About Long Valley Firewise

Beginning in the fall of 2025 we are a Volunteer supported, Firewise USA recognized neighborhood, working to reduce wildfire risk in our community. Our mission is to educate and empower homeowners to harden their homes, maintain defensible space, and support fuel reduction across Long Valley which is bounded by Santa Lucia, Balboa, San Fernando and Graves Creek.

We are comprised of a three member Executive Board and working groups or committees focused on events, outreach, and coordinating workdays and work groups.  We have a three year plan to help keep us on track with activities and priorities.  Come help us help each other.
